  【Hebei 30,000 mt Recycling Project Launched】The Hebei Economic Development Zone in Weixian County recently announced the public participation information for the environmental impact assessment of the lithium battery comprehensive utilisation project proposed by Hebei Linyu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The project is located in the Renewable Resource Recycling Park of the Hebei Economic Development Zone in Weixian County and will establish production lines for cascade utilisation and dismantling of lithium batteries, as well as equipment for crushing and sorting battery cells and pole pieces. Through processes such as dismantling, cascade utilisation, discharge, crushing, and separation of lithium battery scrap, the project is expected to recycle and process 30,000 mt of lithium battery scrap annually.【Shandong 50,000 mt Aluminum Slag Lithium Extraction Project Announced】Recently, the environmental impact assessment documents for the 50,000 mt/year lithium resource comprehensive recycling project by Shandong Yingli Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. were accepted for public review. The project is located in the Green Environmental Protection Industrial Park for Lithium Battery New Materials in Laocheng, Feicheng, Tai'an, Shandong. It will construct a production line with an annual capacity of 50,000 mt for recycling lithium-containing solid waste from aluminum smelters. Upon completion, it will have the capacity to recycle 50,000 mt/year of lithium-containing solid waste from aluminum smelters, utilizing electrolyte slag and overhaul slag from aluminum smelters to produce 2,563 mt of lithium carbonate annually.

【Shanxi Taiyuan 100,000 mt Lithium Battery Scrap Recycling Project Launched】The lithium battery resource utilisation project by Shanxi Yaxin Green Qingyuan Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. is located in the Qingxu Economic Development Zone in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. The project will be constructed in two phases: Phase I will establish a comprehensive utilisation capacity of 50,000 mt/year for lithium-ion battery scrap, divided into two stages. The first stage will include production lines for dismantling and cascade utilisation of 10,000 mt/year of battery packs and recycling 20,000 mt/year of battery cells. The second stage will add production lines for recycling another 20,000 mt/year of battery cells. Phase II will establish a comprehensive utilisation capacity of 50,000 mt/year for lithium-ion battery scrap.

【Jiangxi 80,000 mt LFP Battery Recycling Project Launched】On December 16, Jiangxi Jintong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony for its lithium battery recycling project. The project is located in the Hengfeng County Economic Development Zone in Shangrao City, covering an area of approximately 204 mu. It will process 80,000 mt/year of LFP battery scrap and 20,000 mt/year of black mass. The product plan includes an annual output of 19,000 mt of iron phosphate, 3,880 mt of lithium carbonate, and 10,000 mt of cascade utilisation products from LFP batteries. By-products include 3,265 mt of copper and copper particles, 10,366 mt of aluminum and aluminum particles, 4,410 mt of graphite powder, 10,283 mt of sodium sulphate, and 24,929 mt of ammonium sulphate annually.

【Nanchong's First Battery Recycling Project Launched】The project has a total investment of 454.17 million yuan, including 16.895 million yuan for environmental protection. Upon completion, it will achieve resource utilisation of 20,000 mt/year of retired lithium-ion batteries.

【Jiangsu Huaian 30,000 mt Lithium Battery Scrap Recycling Project Launched】Jiangsu Chenrui New Energy Co., Ltd. recently announced the second public notice for the environmental impact assessment of its lithium battery cascade utilisation and recycling project, which also includes the recycling and processing of waste household appliances and waste anode slurry. Upon completion, the project will have an annual processing capacity of 30,000 mt of lithium battery scrap, 200,000 mt of waste household appliances, and 30,000 mt of waste anode slurry.
